Chiemu's Story
Japan

こんにちは! Konnichiwa!
My name is Chiemu. I am 8 years old. My teacher is Mr. Monkman in Room 3.
I have two passports, one is a New Zealand passport and the other is Japanese. This is because I born in NZ, but my parents are from Japan. My father always tells me about the culture and history of Japan. The most interesting piece of history is the Japanese Imperial dynasty. Our Emperor family has a history of 2600 years which is longest in the world.

Our current Emperor is Emperor Akihito and he is the 125th Emperor of the Sun Line. Japanese people love our Emperor and believe he always prays for us. I am looking forward to going to Japan for a holiday at the end of this month. One place I would really like to visit is the Imperial Palace.
