Hello!
My name is Colomba Meyer, I am from
Chile. I came with my parents and my
little brother to New Zealand
because my father is studying a PhD
at Massey University. He chose
Auckland because he came in 2009,
and he loved it... and I so agree
with him!
My country is located in the South
West of South America. It is a very
long and thin piece of land with
beautiful green landscapes in the
south (just like here) and desert
landscape in the North (we have the
driest desert in the world!). My
city (Concepcion) is located just in
the middle of the country, and one
year ago we had a huge earthquake
(8.8) and a tsunami on the coast.
I miss my family in Chile, but I am
very happy to be here because I have
a lot of friends and I really like
my new school...
