Sofia's Story

Hej!

My name is Sofia and I am a Swedish Kiwi because my mother comes from Sweden and my father comes from New Zealand. My teacher is Mrs Taurua in Room 4.

I have been here since I was 4. When we first came I only understood English
because my Dad spoke it to me at home but I didn't really speak it myself.

When we had been here for a year and I was five my English was a lot better.We came because my Dad wanted to live in New Zealand after almost 10 years in Sweden.

I miss snow and white Christmases, my friends and family over there, but I love to be with my friends here, and the beaches are great.
