I am incredibly proud to serve as the Principal of Bayswater School. Within our vibrant city and across the Peninsula, Bayswater stands out for its unique spirit and inclusive atmosphere. We pride ourselves on recognising the leadership potential within every child, nurturing our tamariki to flourish by bridging academic knowledge with social, emotional, and physical growth.

Whether it’s supporting tamariki with high needs or exploring brave new ways of learning, we are a school that moves forward together. We encourage our tamariki to find their voices, challenge the world around them, and celebrate every achievement along the way.

 A Little About Me
While I am a proud Aucklander by birth, I spent five years in Samoa and much of my life in Wellington before returning home. My background is in a wide range of sports—from hockey and netball to badminton and cricket—though these days you’ll find me playing competitive bowls. When I’m not on the green, I’m usually lost in a book or tackling a challenging word or number puzzle.

My own whānau is the centre of my world. I share my life with my partner, Steve, and I am a proud mother to Samantha (married to Matt) and Michael (married to Simone). Being a grandmother to my "gorgeous granddaughter" is one of my greatest joys!

The Power of Our Community
I truly love the "family feel" of Bayswater School. I believe that education is a partnership, and I am constantly inspired by seeing our whānau in school—whether they are helping in the classroom, supporting events, or cheering from the sidelines.
